ROGER AXTELL is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Since 1997, he has served as vice-chair of the Governor's Task Force on International Education and was a member of the Governor's Commission on University of Wisconsin's System Compensation, and the resulting Governor's Task Force on UW System Accountability. Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson appointed him to a seven-year term on the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents, which oversees 26 campuses in Wisconsin serving 160,000 students.
Roger E. Axtell is the author of ten Do's and Taboos books, including the best selling Do's and Taboos Around the World and Gestures. Mr. Axtell has appeared on such national programs as ABC's Good Morning America, NBC's Today Show, and various CNN News Programs.
