ALINDA LEWRIS delivers spirited, content-rich programs in design and on interacting correctly and confidently to diverse groups such as international law firms, the medical profession, governments, and members of Fortune 25 to Fortune Global 500 corporations.  She has been featured in national and international publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Roger E. Alinda
Lewris has been a professional in Washington DC for more than 25 years.  She has interviewed ambassadors, leading CEOs, corporate presidents, and international attorneys regarding their global business practices and the need for civility, country-specific do's & taboos, and international protocol education.  Comfortable in professional and social interactions with statesmen, politicians, and presidents, she has socialized with the Chief of Protocol for the US State Department, in the family quarters at The White House, and homes of ambassadors posted in Washington.  See:  Do's and Taboos



Professor P.M. Forni
graduated from the University of Pavia in 1974 and received his Ph.D. in Italian literature at UCLA in 1981. A faculty member at Johns Hopkins since 1985, he received the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association's Excellence in Teaching Award (School of Continuing Studies, 1998) and the Outstanding Faculty Award (for undergraduate teaching, 1993). He has written extensively on the works of Giovanni Boccaccio (1313-1375). Among the visiting appointments he was granted are those from the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania.

P.M. Forni is an award-winning professor of Italian literature at Johns Hopkins University.  In 2000 he founded the Civility Initiative at Johns Hopkins and over the years has continued to teach courses on the theory and history of manners.  His book Choosing Civility (2002) has sold more than a hundred thousand copies.  Reports of his work have appeared in The New York Times, The Times of London, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and the Los Angeles Times.  He has been on a number of radio and television shows, including Oprah, ABC's World News Tonight, CBS Sunday Morning, and the BBC's Outlook.
